Back Together Again!
This weekend Thenera and I were able to see each other face-to-face for the first time in nearly two years! It was great to see each other again, but sadly it was because our good friend lost her father.
It’s great to know that I have a friend that will drop everything and go to great lengths to be a friend’s side in their time of need.
Thenera flew from Portland to New Jersey to Dallas and was willing to fly from Dallas to Los Angeles and take the red-eye back to New Jersey (thankfully, she didn’t have to make that fast trip).
Again, it was great to be together again - to fuss about everything, to blame each other for getting lost, to say “why are you eating that” and then ask if you can have a piece, and then to laugh until it hurts and tears are rolling down your cheeks.
Nothing beats a good buddy!
Hopefully we will get to see each other again in a couple of weeks - if everything works out I’ll be in New York next weekend.
I’m sure there will be plenty of smack-talking, fussing, blaming and laughing - I can’t wait!!!
