File Our Taxes…Check
No, filing our taxes isn’t on my 30 List, but I did finish and that’s an accomplishment. Usually, we don’t file until April 15 at 11:45 pm, so being finished in February is a big deal.
I was watching the 10 o’clock news while I completed our efile and a commercial for Mike Huckabee came on. Did you know he says he wants to abolish the IRS? Considering I was in the process of filing my taxes, this really caught my attention.
I even went to his website and read more about his IRS shutdown plan. It’s very interesting, but could it really happen? I don’t know. But I sure would be wiling to give up the whole Federal Tax Filing thing.
I only have 7 days now to figure out who I’m going to vote for and I’m no closer today than I was 6 days ago.
Another thing to put on my list - “Figure out who to vote for.”
