Cooking for the Family
Since I’m a wife and mother, one would mistakenly assume I’m a great cook. Well, I’m awful. Dreadful in some cases. But I don’t let that stop me!
My kids favorite “meal” of mine is my Souped Up Ramon Noodles. The recipe is simple:
-1 package Chicken Favored Ramon Noodles
-4 hotdog wieners
-1 slice of cheese
I add the cheese after the noodles are cooked, when I’m adding the chicken favoring and the kids say it’s umm, umm good.
Well, I branched out the other night - after all cooking a new meal each month is on my list. I made grilled pork chops. Yes, this is my first time cooking pork chops. And they turned out ok.
Sure, B1 said they were burnt and I had to explain to him they were just crispy. And sure my husband said he needed a slice of bread to cut the saltiness. But hey, I’m trying.
Next month, I think I’ll follow an actual recipe versus winging it and doing the spice roulette.
And I’m going to try really hard not to caught up in a conversation with Thenera while the food is in the oven - it might reduce the crispiness.
