Yes, those are his exact words - as I was heading to bed with 3 Double-Stuffed Oreos and a glass of Cherry Kool-aid.
How can I say no to that? So I said I’d be right back and I’d be ready to get started (went to the back to eat my bedtime snack and I came back ready to work it off).
To my surprise, this wasn’t any ab video, it was a Pilates ab workout “designed especially to target the abs and the core.”
I didn’t think this was a good time to tell him how I walked out of the Pilates class at the gym just 5 simple minutes in because me and Pilates just don’t mix. My body just doesn’t flex like those size 2 girls bodies do.
But I suffered though and managed to do all but 1 of the exercises. The crazy swing your legs over your head and touch the floor just wasn’t happening. Are they serious???
This isn’t exactly what I meant when I told him he should plan our next date night - but it was fun and I’m even willing to do it again.
