Datela Candy

It is so fitting that for my list the first new food I would try would be candy. But what can I say, I have a sweet tooth! 
My co-worker returned from a family trip to Dubai and brought candies made of dates into the office. They are from Datela sweets and she bought them from the Ibn Battuta mall. She promised to share more pictures but you can learn more at http://www.ibnbattutamall.com/
Coconut fans will enjoy the coconut covered date in the pink wrapper. The orange wrapper is a date filling between two shortbread cookies. The silver wrapper is chocolate covered dates with almonds. They are a great treat.
